Some Soothing Scrubs For Foot Care

Although they lie anatomically at the bottom, our feet are what make us run around the world and move on with life. However, our feet need constant care and protection. Getting a professional pedicure is not always affordable or feasible, so you can have your own foot care regime at home
.
Soak your feet in a tub of warm water before applying the masks/scrubs mentioned below, along with salt and lemon to soften the dead skin and remove dirt.
COOLING SCRUB
Often standing or walking for long periods can make the feet very tired and sore. You can treat yourself with a cooling massage by using: Olive oil (2 table spoons), tea tree oil (1 drop), peppermint oil (1 drop), and salt (2 table spoons).
By combing these products you can get a good scrub with moisturizing and softening effects. Olive oil would reduce dryness, peppermint and tea tree oil would cool the skin and use their anti bacterial properties to heal the cracked heels. Salt would help exfoliate dead cells and leave you with soft feet.Although they lie anatomically at the bottom, our feet are what make us run around the world and move on with life. BANANA MASK
If you have an extra banana lying around the house, you can mash it and apply it all over your feet. Keep it on for 30 minutes then wash it off. You will be left with soft feet.
TAN REMOVING SCRUB AND MASK
Open slippers and sandals can leave you with tanned feet or tan lines. This can give a very untidy look to your feet.  You can form a tan removing scrub by mixing 1 table spoon of coconut oil, ½ tea spoon of honey, 1 tea spoon sugar and one table spoon lemon-lime juice.
After dipping your feet in lukewarm water, apply this scrub and gently rub it in for 5-10 minutes. Wash it off and dry your feet.
Your tan removing mask is also easy and economical. It consists of, 1 tbsp gram flour (besan), 1 tbsp Multani mitti, rose water, crushed cucumber juice. All these ingredients are cooling in nature and remove the tan and dirt. After it’s dried, wash it off, apply Vaseline and cotton socks for a soft skin.
DAILY MOISTURIZER
You can make your own daily foot moisturizer easily. All you need is, one part Vaseline, one part coconut oil, few drops of essential tea tree oil, and few drops of lemon juice. These ingredients will moisturize, and lemon will remove the uneven skin tone if applied daily, overnight.
