Dhaba Chai And Its Addictive Elements

Every average Pakistani household has to have tea in the morning for breakfast and then the evening tea, which is to be complimented by Samosas or bakery goods.
It is a good gesture of tradition in Pakistan that when a guest arrives, they have to be served chai at least once.

The people of Pakistan have created a need for chai that they cannot live without. Many people who do consume chai and especially from a local dhaba are expected to create an addiction for it.
Thus, there are many side effects of the Chai, Some of them are:
Kidney damage
Irritated stomach
Drinking eight or nine daily duplicates the symptoms of ulcer
Slows the digestion process
Creates gas
Causes diarrhea and constipation
Affects respiratory and heart function
Causes indigestion
Overexcites the nervous system
Causes palpitations
Many people who are addicted to chai get addicted to a specific kind of chai that is from local dhabas.
The chai created there is said to contain some sort of chemical which makes you want to come back and have more. The chai dhaba addiction also is a hazard for discipline.
The chai and dhaba addiction has also lead an increase in insomnia and late night socializing, it has also created many social issues as well because people who socialize in late sittings at dhabas often make themselves targets to many illegal activities.
The chai dhaba addiction also is a hazard for discipline. Many people of Pakistan belong to the lower class so they can afford only the chai from dhabas but that has created an addiction of both chai and dhabas.
Now, this probably sounds like we are talking about a drug, but look at the amount of chai dhaba addiction cases we have. It has indeed become a drug! Well, if you don’t give an addict something they need, they are bound to become reckless and aggressive. That’s why it’s called an addiction and they are never healthy.
